EVER DREAM OF BEING STRANDED ON A DESERT ISLAND AND FINDING A TREASURED MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE?
Bandon beaches continue to be sprinkled with unique, Bandon-themed bottles containing a positive, beach-themed message waiting to be discovered. Each bottle was created by local artist, Kim Bell. Read her story, A Studio with a Sea of Creations.
These bottles are yours to keep and can be brought into the Bandon Visitor Center to claim your treasures! You will receive Chamber cash redeemable in dozens of local businesses.
Take a photo in your favorite shop or restaurant with your bottle and tag #MIAB2026 for a chance to be featured on Bandon.com, Instagram, or the Chamber Facebook page.

HINTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
- Search on weekends between February 13-March 15, 2026.
- 2 Bottles will be hidden daily at each of the following locations: Bullards Beach Lighthouse, Coquille Point, Devil’s Kitchen, and Downtown Bandon. 24 Bottles a weekend!
- Look for bottles above the high-tide line and below the beach embankment.
- Discover your bottle when and wherever. Our Bottle Faeries hide bottles at random times and locations… not even we know.
BASIC GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS
- Be mindful of delicate coastal flora and fauna.
- Be kind to the environment.
- Locate your bottle number on or near the bottom-of-the-bottle.
- Collect only one bottle per person, per year.
