Experience a U-Picker’s Paradise
Blueberries, strawberries, loganberries, and cranberries. Oh my!
In the Bandon area, berry farmers cultivate fruit that is sweeter, juicier, and more delicate than the common grocery store variety. The picking is so exceptional that many farms attract visitors from out of state year after year.
Harvest time varies slightly each year, but you can expect the first fields and farm stands to open in June. The berries grown to the east of Bandon are the first to ripen, while farms closer to the ocean, from Bandon to Port Orford, start their harvest a few weeks later.
