Rural Oregon Grant Opportunities

Small businesses and organizations in rural Oregon are invited to apply for program and business-building grants facilitated by groups in the Pacific Northwest and across the country. Bandon Cares is a network of Bandon’s nonprofits whose purpose is facilitating communication, cooperation and collaboration among the many nonprofit groups providing service to the Bandon Community.

Coos Curry Are You Ready?
The Coos County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management publication, “Are You Ready?” covers preparedness for all disasters relevant to the Coos and Curry County area. You can download “Are You Ready?” or pick up a printed copy at the Bandon Chamber of Commerce.

Bandon CERT
Bandon CERT, a chapter of Coos County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), strives to empower all citizens to be prepared for disasters and emergencies through education and example. All CERT members are part of Coos County Sheriffs Office of Emergency Management.

Coos County CERT volunteers are trained in a consistent, nationwide approach to support emergency responders with Fire Safety, Light Search and Rescue, as well as Basic First Aid during disasters. CERT also provides educational training to the community on preparedness.
