2020 Bandon Cranberry Harvest Celebration

Due to Oregon State Mandates with regard to COVID-19, this year a Cranberry Harvest Celebration will be hosted in Bandon in lieu of the 2020 Cranberry Festival. Celebration Events are detailed below.

The Bandon Cranberry Festival has been postponed until 2021!  We look forward to seeing you then…..September 10, 11, and 12th, 2021.

For 2020, Bandon is hosting a Cranberry Harvest Celebration during the month of September, continuing to honor the traditions of our community – in many forms.

2020 Cranberry Harvest Celebration Events

Bandon Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the 2020 Cranberry Harvest Celebration, a VERY modified substitute for the annual Cranberry Festival.

Cranberry Court: Judging of talent, presentations, etc., as well as the 2020 Cranberry Queen Coronation are closed events. (Streamed on Facebook after the events. Dates to be announced.)

Blessing of the Harvest: Closed event, with the Cranberry Court and Clergy attending (Streamed on Facebook after the event. Dates to be announced.)

August 20 – September 13: Past Cranberry Queens’ Dress Display at the Bandon Historical Society Museum

September 10 – 23: Virtual Cranberry Kitchen Make your favorite Cranberry recipe, take a picture, and post the picture along with the recipe on Facebook.

September 10 – 23: Virtual Cranberry Festivals’ Past Celebration provided by the Bandon Historical Society Museum. The museum asks the Bandon Community to share their memories of Cranberry Festival’s Past.

September 11 – 21: “Paint the Town Cranberry” business decorating contest. Businesses are encouraged to decorate in all forms of Cranberry. Judging to be held September 21, with the winner announced September 23.

September 11 – 24: Cranberry Trail of Shops 2020 Businesses selling and featuring anything Cranberry will register, be listed, and the public encouraged to satisfy their “Cranberry Cravings.”

September 12 & 13: Cranberry Festivals’ Past Celebration with Free Admission to the Bandon Historical Museum sponsored by Doug & Sharon Ward Moy. Sharon was the 1965 Cranberry Queen.

September 12: Cranberry Harvest Beach Walk sponsored by Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center (Details to follow.)
